(Luzern, Switzerland) Looking for a Chef De Cuisine - Japanese Cuisine for a 5* luxury hotel

About the Role:
As a Chef De Cuisine - Japanese Cuisine, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Outlet kitchen with emphasis on quality, presentation within the guidelines of the standardized menus and employee training.

Responsibilities: 
• Supervise the Restaurant kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel's SOPs and standardized menu guidelines. 
• Helps create innovative/modern Japanese cuisines that match with the Restaurant concept 
• Attend meetings with Executive Chef to discuss future business strategy and review ongoing action plan progress, and other departmental meetings as required. 
• Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs.
• Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines.
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen team.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
 
Qualifications:
• Previous leadership experience in the culinary field required
• Previous work experience in a 5-star hotel or renowned up-class Japanese restaurant with good standards.
