Job Descriptions

Management of the day to day and overall function of the Marketing & PR department
Print and online reputation including but not limited to web content update, Third party websites and other online platforms
Making sure that all information about the hotel, F&B outlets and other hotel facilities mentioned in all channels (print and online) are correct and up to date
Identify PR and Partnership Marketing opportunities
Strategic Direction, execution and monitoring of all PR and Marketing communication campaigns
Content creation in order to meet the editorial line up of media publication as well as making sure that all social media channels contents are fresh and relevant
Making sure that the hotel’s information are written creatively and attractive enough to capture the media’s attention
Making sure that the hotel information are pushed out to the media every month and ensured that they are picked up and actioned by the relevant publications
Build relationships with the online community
Design, build editorial topics for blog that will help with the SEO
Collection of internal information to support the blog and create content material on time
Develop and report performance of digital marketing and media related activities and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm with the team new and creative growth strategies
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize marketing activation
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize journalists’ experience
Collaborate with PR agencies and responding to the media enquiries
Review and evaluate emerging publication and important local personalities and ensure that they are knowledgeable about Palazzo Versace Dubai’s outlets and facilities
Qualify media leads
Evaluate competitors’ PR activities and generated PR coverage and propose strategies to enhance Palazzo Versace’s PR coverage.
Manage filming and photoshoots
Proactively seek collaboration opportunities to gain brand exposure and bring footfall to the hotel

Conduct regular audits on the hotel’s descriptive content and images to ensure parity 
Maintains a healthy social relationship with the bloggers and instagrammers by being responsive and interactive in his / her own personal social media platforms
Prepare monthly reports
JOB PROFILE:As Director of Marketing & Communication he/she should possess an excellent business acumen and strategic ability, he / she should have excellent writing skills, people skills and leadership qualities. He/She should be hardworking, a self-starter, enthusiastic, with a good sense of humour, functions well in a stressful environment, is empathetic and considerate to the needs of others, able to inspire & motivate team members from within, passionately driven to achieve consistency & service excellence & enjoys working as team member within a dynamic & innovative organization such as Palazzo Versace Dubai.
QUALIFICATIONS:Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing / Advertising / Media /Communication or equivalent. (Essential)
Fluent in English (creative writing and speaking) - (Essential)
EXPERIENCE:Previous HOD role experience in the service industry. (Essential)
Marketing & PR experience with luxury brands (Essential)
Operational experience in Food & Beverage or related service industry. (Essential)
