The Guest Relations Agent is responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay. This role involves direct interaction with guests, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues that arise to ensure a memorable experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and offer assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Provide information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with various departments (Housekeeping, F&B, etc.) to fulfill guest requests and requirements.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the hotel's offerings and promotions.
- Ensure guest profiles are updated and special requests are handled prior to their arrival.
- Manage and resolve all guest issues in a manner that maintains positive guest relations.
- Collect guest feedback during and after their stay to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster positive guest relations and ensure repeat business by providing an outstanding service experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of hotel management software and MS Office.
- Multilingual abilities are highly beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays.
