(Dubai, United Arab Emirates) Looking for a Restaurant Manager (Arabic Cuisine) for a 5* luxury resort.
About the Role:
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible to manage the overall operation of the restaurant, work on the improvement of guest satisfaction and optimizing the work sequences, observing the sales strategies and standards. You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times, and that all guest requests are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner with accordance to hotel policies, SOP and standards.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Supervises daily shift operations.
Supervises restaurant and all related areas.
Communicates to Chef any issues regarding food quality and service levels.
Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
Supervises on-going training initiatives.
Opens and closes restaurant shifts.
Coaches and counsels employees regarding performance on an on-going basis.
Recruit, train and supervise new employees for the assigned outlet.
Prepares working schedules and implements according to business needs.
Checks daily reservation status and daily occupancy and takes necessary actions to ensure his/her outlets most efficient functioning.
Handles guest complaints.
Performs all duties of restaurant team members and related departments as necessary.
Prior experience in the hospitality industry
UAE experience and has handled Arabic Cuisine restaurant with strong market and operational knowledge
Guest oriented and service oriented
Ability to motivate, lead and empower the team members
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
To be aware of all Health, Safety and Fire regulations and to abide by their terms
To ensure that junior members of the team are aware of Health, Safety & Fire regulations and that they too abide by their terms
