Under the guidance of Assistant Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for running all operational People and Culture activities in the Residence and to ensure the smooth functioning of the People and Culture Department are met all aspects of our Guest Centric journey.
You will also ensure that the business are in full compliance with the local labor laws and regulations.
You will also contribute to the processes and activities that create and promote the Dorchester Collection culture and values bringing the Company Philosophy “We Care” to life to ensure our employees receive nothing but the best experience.

You will work with the Managers and Senior leaders in the Residence to ensure that the correct talent is being recruited at all times and support as appropriate of their Learning & Development to ensure that the right people are recruited and trained into the various roles they will fulfill.
You will be actively engage with employees and creating memorable moments of employees engagement events.
You will provide advice and guidance to both managers and employees on Human Resources policies, legal requirements, staffing issues, and act as an arbitrator where necessary.
While providing the employees with counselling, guidance, career planning, and overseeing disciplinary matters, you will assist with conducting development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career path.
You will be instrumental in supporting and the implementation of the People & Culture training plan and processes to ensure that employees have all the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.
