(Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) Looking for a Deputy General Manager for a well-known Jewellery retail group.
About the Role:
As a Deputy General Manager, you are responsible for managing and developing the top Jewellery clients of the company. Deputy General Manager will look to build relationships with the company's top clients and partners with respective senior leaders to increase these clients' engagement in fine Jewellery.
Responsibilities:
Ensure annual sales turnover and gross margin targets.
Create and execute an overall strategic growth plan for Jewellery to drive client acquisition and outpaced sales.
Work with Selling Directors to analyze existing client base and define appropriate opportunities to acquire new customers and develop existing clients. Identify strategic and creative events that drive acquisition and increase customer sales.
Drive use of technology and social media by the selling team to reinforce a proactive clienteling culture and to extend client engagement outside of the store.
Executes operational tasks as directed, with a keen eye on the bottom line profitability of the store.
In addition to assisting the management team in the general operations of the store, the key responsibility will be to focus on the Jewellery area.
Along with the Store Manager are the liaison between the store, and the support office.
Work closely with inventory planning and allocation to manage inventory levels in the department.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of management experience with luxury retailer or comparable experience
Advance exposure to retailing practices, promotions.
Professional Gemologist Certification
Strong leadership skills
Attention to detail, Confident, Team Player
