Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all public area, guest rooms and back of the house areas of the hotel are properly cleaned at all times, in line with the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedure for cleaning these areas
Arrange a very special room set up for guest celebrating a special occasion based on their specifications
Taking into note guest preferences to ensure a personalized service specially repeat/long term guest
Report any fire or safety hazard, any unusual incidents, guest complaints, breakage and losses to the Housekeeping Management.
Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
Prepare linen inventory, uniforms and other items
Ensure that lost and found procedure are processed properly and correct method are maintained
Ensure records are maintained for Housekeeping inventory as applicable.
Follow and recommend measures to minimize all wastage of electricity, water materials and amenities that is used in the department and property.
Ensuring security awareness throughout the hotel and reporting the incidents to the appropriate
Ensures that the VIP requirements are met or more over exceeded
Any special request from the guest are carried and delivered on time
Taking good care of the cleaning equipment used by himself/herself
Immediately reporting any damage or loss in a guest room
Check on minibar consumptions upon guests’ checkout and report to FID to charge guest prior to departure.
Clean Minibar fridge and refill when items have been consumed
Making a room status report
