(Doha, Qatar) Looking for a Sales Executive for a 5* hotel
About the Role:
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible to assist the hotel sales team to generate revenue.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Maximises revenue by assisting the Head of Sales & Marketing with new sales opportunities.
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
Participate in hotel promotional activities.
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
Expedites sales activities in the segment assigned to you in line with the resort business plan.
Proactively identifies, qualifies and solicits new businesses to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
Bring the best sales opportunities on market conditions.
Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
Establish and maintain filing system procedures, prepare new client files.
Preferably candidate with Qatar market experience
Hospitality sales background is a must
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Communicate clients’ requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner
Super organised, with exceptional attention to detail
