(Luzern, Switzerland) Looking for Assistant Finance Manager for a 5* luxury hotel

About the Role:
As Assistant Finance Manager, you will be responsible to assist Head of Finance in various financial and accounting systems, reporting requirements and to implement best policies and procedures of the company in accordance with the internationally accepted standard, and monitor its internal control to ensure financial stability and maintain complete transparency and accuracy in the system.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist Head of Finance to review the entire order to cash cycle and ensure the revenue leases are accounted on a timely basis and check and verify development payments along with related reports.
- Assist Head of Finance with forecasting and budgeting.
- Assist Head of Finance for hiring, motivating, counselling, coaching, evaluating, scheduling, etc, of the Accounting staff.
- Responsible for assisting department heads with making relevant and accurate decisions on financial matters.
- Ensuring that local legislation and procedures are followed.
- Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations during month-end closing.
- Ensuring that all fees are calculated accurately and comply with the Management Agreements.
 
Requirements:
Good knowledge of accounting and finance practices
Europe experiences required
