Job Descriptions

(Maldives) Looking for F&B Hostess/ F&B Captain for 5* luxury resort.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Interacts with guests in each of the outlets to solicit comments.
- Communicates with the Outlet Manager any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information. 
- Prepares daily assignments of personnel based on the volume of business. 
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party.
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; placing clean/current menu in front of guest, etc.
- Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel.
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items offered by the department assigned.
- Have the knowledge and understanding to explain and perform upselling all items offered by the department assigned as well as offering alternatives.
- Understand and strictly adhere to the rules & regulations established in the hotel’s policy manual and the hotel’s policy on fire, hygiene, health & safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.

Requirement:
- Spoken and written Mandarin in addition to English
- Candidate must have Five star Resort work experiences
