(Tokyo, Japan) Looking for a Reservations Manager for a 5 star luxury hotel.

About the Role:
As Reservation Manager, you will be in charge of overseeing Reservation operations while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. This position will be working closely with the Head of Revenue to ensure key objectives and priorities are enabled within the reservation’s organization, including forecasting, strategic planning, operational planning, and any other business growth requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Update reservations ensuring a flawless check in and check out process.
• Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities.
• Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure highest level of Guest service is maintained and the maximum profit is generated. 
• Review and implement new Reservations procedures. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. 
• Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and apply rate management. 
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. 
• Verify availability of room type and rate. 
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers. 
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individual
Evaluates departmental training sessions. 
• Personally conducts training for all colleagues as required. 
• Liaise with Sales and other departments as required.
 
Requirements:
• Must possess outstanding Sales skills, Guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment while remaining calm, collective and accurate.

• Basic Salary: JPY 400,000 (Approximately USD 2,860)
