(Saudi Arabia) Looking for a Sales Manager - Government for a 5* luxury hotel
About the Role:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible to manage to assist the sales team within Government segment for the hotel and to pro-actively generate revenue. You will also maintain, develop and recognize key accounts on a regular basis and be aware of the market trends from all the existing and potential feeders.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy for the hotel.
• Assist in preparation of new products and services.
• Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business.
• Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis.
• Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
• Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs.
• Maximizes upselling opportunities whenever possible.
• Plans sales trips under the direction and approval of the Director of Sales to major markets and calling on the accounts within the specific protocols
• To acquire, develop and manage local government accounts according to the set business mix strategy.
• Analyzes market changes. Under the direction of the Director of Sales, implements proactive programs to meet changes, i.e. changes brought about by political, economic or competitive changes in the market place.
• Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market area through direct sales, telephone and written communication.
• Participates and contributes information in the forecasting process to come up with an accurate forecast.
Implement sales policies and procedures of the hotel.
Requirements:
• Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills
• Knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
• Have previous work experience in Similar Role
